Persónuverndarstefna Rafiðnaðarsambands Íslands. (RSÍ)
(sambandið)
Við hjá Rafiðnaðarsambandi Íslands erum stolt af þeirri þjónustu sem við veitum og því trausti
sem okkar félagsmenn bera til sambandsins. Okkur er ljóst að til að viðhalda þessu trausti og
tryggja fagmennsku í okkar starfi verðum við að tryggja persónuvernd okkar félagsmanna. Í
þessari persónuverndarstefnu eru útskýrðar starfsvenjur okkar hvað varðar þær
persónuupplýsingar sem við tökum við, vinnum með og eyðum.
Söfnun og notkun persónuupplýsinga.
• RSÍ vinnur með persónuupplýsingar félagsmanna sinna og vistar þær í
upplýsingakerfum sínum.
• RSÍ leggur ríka áherslu á að tryggja öryggi persónuupplýsinga félagsmanna sinna.
• RSÍ sér til þess að farið sé með allar persónuupplýsingar í samræmi við lög, reglugerðir
og reglur um persónuvernd.
• RSÍ vinnur einungis með þær persónuupplýsingar sem þarf til að geta veitt þá þjónustu
sem sambandinu ber að veita félagsmönnum sínum.
• RSÍ ábyrgist að nýta sér ekki upplýsingar um félagsmenn á annan hátt er lög og reglur
kveða á um.
• Allar upplýsingar sem félagsmenn RSÍ láta sambandinu í té eða sem RSÍ sækir með
þeirra leyfi til þriðja aðila eru eingöngu sóttar í þeim tilgangi að hægt sé að veita
félagsmönnum þá þjónustu sem þeir eiga rétt á.
• Allir starfsmenn RSÍ skuldbinda sig svo langt sem lög og dómstólar leyfa til að gæta
þagnarskyldu um hvaðeina er varðar félagsmenn RSÍ.
• Persónuupplýsingar félagsmanna RSÍ eru einungis aðgengilegar þeim starfsmönnum
RSÍ sem starfa sinna vegna þurfa að hafa aðgang að þeim.
• Þagnarskylda starfsmanna RSÍ helst eftir að starfssambandi líkur.
• RSÍ notar persónuupplýsingar eingöngu í þeim tilgangi sem þeirra var aflað.
Persónuupplýsingar veittar þriðjaaðila.
• RSÍ áskilur sér rétt til að deila persónuupplýsingum með þriðja aðila að því marki sem
þarf til að geta sinnt félagsmönnum og uppfylla skyldur sambandsins.
• RSÍ mun ekki samþykkja að deila persónuupplýsingum með þriðjaaðila nema
sambandinu sé það skylt samkvæmt lögum, skv. dómi eða að beiðni félagsmanns.
Eyðing persónuupplýsinga.
• Persónuupplýsingum verður eytt með tryggum hætti, biðji félagsmaður um það og lög
og reglur standi því ekki í vegi.
• Persónuupplýsingar í bókhaldsgögnum eru varðveidd í 7 ár.
• Viðkvæmum persónuupplýsingum er eytt um leið og þeirra er ekki lengur þörf.
Þjónustuaðilar (Vinnsluaðilar)
• RSÍ notast við trausta samstarfsaðila sem sjá um vinnslu á persónuupplýsingum,
vistun og eyðingu. RSÍ deilir persónuupplýsingum með þeim eins og nauðsyn krefur
og heimildir félagsmanna leyfa.
• RSÍ hefur skipulagt vörslu sína og vinnslu á persónuupplýsingum hjá vinnsluaðilum
þannig að þau séu varin með tryggum hætti.
Aðgangur að persónuverndarupplýsingum og eyðing.
• Félagsmenn RSÍ geta óskað eftir aðgangi að persónuupplýsingum sínum og mun RSÍ
veita aðgang að þeim upplýsingum.
• Félagsmenn geta farið þess á leit við RSÍ að persónuupplýsingum um þá verði eytt.
Standi lög eða reglur því ekki í vegi, verður upplýsingunum eytt með tryggum hætti.
Öryggisráðstafanir.
• RSÍ beitir ýmsum aðferðum til að koma í veg fyrir að persónuupplýsingar komist í
hendur óviðkomandi aðila.
• RSÍ mun tilkynna viðkomandi um öryggisbrest líkt og lög kveða á um, ef í ljós kemur
að persónuupplýsingar hafi borist til óviðkomandi aðila.
Persónuverndarfulltrúi.
• RSÍ hefur ráðið, Ólaf Karl Eyjólfsson, lögmann, sem persónuverndarfulltrúa RSÍ.
• Félagsmenn RSÍ geta sent erindi á Ólaf Karl Eyjólfsson, ef þeir telja að
persónuupplýsingum um þá hafi ekki verið safnað, unnið eða eytt með réttum hætti.
• Hægt er að senda erindi á olafurkarl@oklogmenn.is.
Breytingar á persónuverndarstefnu.
• RSÍ mun breyta persónuverndarstefnu sinni ef þörf reynist. Gildistími hverrar útgáfu er
sá tími sem hún stendur á vefsíðu RSÍ, rafis.is.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
